Q: Can I drop my camper off early on a Sunday?
A: Regretfully, we cannot accept campers prior to the published time. Our staff are told to be ready for this time so to accept campers any earlier is unfair to staff and reduces their time off.
Q: Can I speak to staff about individual concerns regarding my camper on the day of drop off?
A: Absolutely! Staff are available to discuss issues or concerns or to clarify items described on a camper's intake forms. We encourage you to speak to the staff and leave feeling confident.
Q: How much baggage is too much?
A: Their is no limit on how many items of clothes a camper brings to camp. We would much rather you pack too much than not enough. Camp Red Leaf is not responsible for the loss of clothing, but we work hard to reduce such loss and ask that every item of clothing is labelled with the campers full name.
Q: Can we send portable electronics to camp?
A: We discourage campers from bringing expensive portable electronics to camp. Camp Red Leaf cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to items. Campers bring these items at their own risk.
Staffing
Q: Who will my camper's counselor be?
A: Senior Staff match campers with counselors based on a number of factors. These matches are approved by the Director before being finalized. Please familiarize yourself with the 'Meet the Staff' link in the main menu to see a list of staff for the coming season.
Q: If my camper is a returnee to Red Leaf can I request a specific counselor?
A: We accept requests and recommendations but we cannot gurantee that campers will have the same staff as the previous summer.
