and enthusiastic, staff includes college students, educators, coaches and
juniors and seniors in high school who come from across the USA and around
the world. Many return each summer and are former campers. Chosen for their
expertise and maturity, they are committed to helping every camper enjoy
their experience and grow as individuals during the summer.
Kenley Perry Kenley has been with JCYS since 1996. He was the Ropes and Adventure Education Director until 2000 and has directed our day camp since 2002. Kenley holds a degree in recreation.
Tony Warner Tony has been with JCYS since 2003 serving on the staff at Camp Red Leaf and as Ropes/Outdoor Educator. He assumed the Directorship of Camp Red Leaf in May of 2005. Tony holds a degree in applied community studies.
Danny Glassman Danny has been with JCYS since 2000, full-time since 2003. He presently manages our Conference Center and is Associate Director of Overnight Camp. Danny is working toward a degree in recreation.

North Shore Day Camp Staff Bios
NSDC staff members are hired through a highly selective interview process. They are primarily chosen for their dedication to working with children. Our staff is compassionate, enthusiastic, good listeners, patient, nurturing, and trustworthy. We seek people who are team players with leadership skills, easy-going, and know how to make camp fun. The entire staff participates in a week-long extensive training and teambuilding orientation program. Our team is comprised of college and high school students, child-care professionals, and educators.
NSDC takes pride in our outstanding camper/staff ratio of 6:1. This allows our staff to address each individual campers needs as well as provides leadership to the entire group.
Assistant Director, Valerie Ravenna
Valerie comes to NSDC for her fourth summer. In her first two summers, Val served as our Office Manager and this summer will be a part of our Leadership Team as Assistant Director. Currently working on her Doctorate of Pharmacy, Val is super excited for camp and can't wait to be outside and able to "hang" with the campers. Val embodies the NSDC spirit with her amazing personality and zest for life. Go NSDC!!!
NSDC SPORTS Staff Bios
