Annual Campaigns

- Hanukkah appeal – an annual end-of-year card.
- Send a Kid to Camp appeal – a card or letter mailed to donors in the spring.
Commemorations
Congratulate a friend or family member, honor someone’s memory, or recognize a co-worker for a job well done with JCYS commemoration cards. Call 312-726-8891, ext. 122 to send one today!
The Charles Desser Annual Alumni Campaign
Alumni of the JCYS Board of Directors contribute annually (November to March) to this campaign, which honors the beloved memory of past Executive Director Chuck Desser and supports the agency’s programs and services.
In-Kind Donations
JCYS accepts donations of goods and services from community members and businesses. These gifts include auction donations, toys, sports equipment, art supplies, and more.
Annual Golf Outing
The agency hosts an annual golf outing in September, with proceeds benefiting JCYS Camp Red Leaf. Golfers and community members support the event in the following ways:

Annual Gala
Each spring, JCYS hosts a major fundraising event in support of children and families in need. To be on our mailing list call 312-726-8891, ext. 122. The annual gala generates scholarship dollars and general program support through the following initiatives:
- Tickets
- Sponsorship
- Live and silent auction
- Raffle
- Event Book campaign – businesses and supporters purchase advertisements in event book.
Capital Campaign Gifts*
JCYS accepts gifts to improve our sites through renovations and additions.
Major Gifts/Endowments*
JCYS provides opportunities for donors to make a substantial contribution to support a program or service now and into the future.
Gifts of Stock*
The agency accepts gifts of stock.
