Every summer, campers tune in to North Shore Day Camp for fun, wonder, spirit and friendship! We offer the amazing activities of a large camp, while keeping it just the right size (about 200 campers) to celebrate our campers as individuals and as the friends they become! NSDC combines a nurturing environment with exciting activities that challenge every camper sometimes without them even knowing it.
Fun, hugs, and high fives are in great supply.
NSDC is known for spirit, camaraderie and fun and a great staff! Campers are welcomed each day by cheering and singing counselors people who love camp and love kids. With a 6:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, we create the ultimate summer family. Our highly trained team of counselors and specialists provide excitement and quality programming.
Camp is set on an enormous playing field, which includes a playground and multiple baseball diamonds. On rainy days, campers can retreat to our spacious building, complete with a large multipurpose room, art room, drama room and gymnasium. NSDC is just the place for fun, friendships, and lots of other exciting new experiences.
North Shore Day Camp's winter office is located at
the JCYS George W. Lutz Family Center - 800 Clavey Road in Highland Park, IL. In the summer, we move to camp's location at Wayne Thomas Elementary School - 2939 Summit Avenue in Highland Park, IL.
