(For children entering Kindergarten in the Fall)
Children enjoy educational, social, and recreational opportunities that enhance their day and enrich their Kindergarten experience. Literature, art, drama, science and social studies, as well as cooking and sports are an integral part of both the morning and afternoon programs in this teacher directed, student focused curriculum. Let your child's imagination fly to the moon, dig for dinosaurs, or visit with creatures under the sea as they participate in this wonderful theme based class. A cold breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks are included. District 102 provides transportation to and from the JCYS Northwest Family Center. JCYS provides transportation to students in District 96 for an additional fee.
Extended Day Kindergarten Enrichment is available for both AM and PM Kindergarteners.
Available hours are: Monday-Friday from 6:45 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
*Kindergarten Enrichment is the exact same program with a shortened day: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This is a 38 week program. Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring Break programming is available for an additional fee. Optional school days off programming is available throughout the year.
