The JCYS Northwest Family Center is proud to introduce JCYS Camp Horner Grove, a not-to-be missed day camp experience for pre-kindergartners, kindergartners and first-grades. JCYS has nearly 100 years of camping experience through its JCYS Camp Henry Horner, and is now bringing this expertise in creating summer adventures for children to the JCYS Northwest Family Center in summer 2007. Through its combined strengths - a century of camping experience and a state-of-the-art facility in Buffalo Grove - JCYS will provide children ages four through six with the ultimate summer camp experience, in an environment tailor-made for early childhood activities and programs. Your children will receive the best of both worlds!

JCYS brings the traditional day camp spirit to its center, while being able to utilize its wonderful facility. Our 2nd year camp program will include a four-day-a-week swim program at the Lincolnshire Club, off site field
trips, sports programs on our recently-built athletic field and much more. Oh, and forget packing lunch! Kids have meals provided daily at Camp Horner Grove. And, this all-inclusive camp experience is just around the corner.

Our air-conditioned indoor facility offers a great alternative to get out of the heat. Each camper will have opportunities to explore special interests such as nature, karate, tumbling, sports, music, drama, and arts &
crafts. Some campers will also venture to JCYS Camp Henry Horner in Ingleside. Whether in the pool or on a field trip, children at JCYS Horner Grove Day Camp will be in the nurturing, enthusiastic care of educators, college students, coaches and specialists, who bring diverse backgrounds and talents to camp.
