Camp Henry Horner is about adventure, friendship, fun, discovery, and challenge.
It is a place where safety is a priority, independence is fostered and trying new things is encouraged. Our staff and campers are what make Camp Henry Horner as amazing as it is. Each summer we welcome the greatest campers, but first we find and train a superb staff, many of whom are returning campers! These are college students, educators and coaches who arrive here from all over the U.S. and around the world to spread their dedication and enthusiasm - for kids, for fun, for life. We choose them based upon their expertise and maturity. Then we do whatever it takes to support their efforts with the campers. We understand that day camp can be a bit daunting for younger children, and we make their summer experiences here age appropriate and fun from the moment they board the bus on their very first day.
