Aquatics
Our 4000 square-foot heated Clonick Pool is the scene for teaching, learning and playing! The American Red Cross -Learn to Swim- program is taught by certified water safety instructors. Day Campers free swim every afternoon where they have the opportunity to swim, slide, play basketball and just plain hang out. The new waterslide drops into over 10' of water and is a big hit with our campers. We recently added overhead lights so that we can do night swims on our overnighters
Our Wooster Lake beach and lakefront offers not only sailing, boating, canoeing, fishing, peddle boating and swimming; but boasts a new water park; -Glickman Waterworks-. Enjoy jumping off the Aqua Jump and Blob or challenge yourself to climbing and sliding off the Iceberg. Spin around our new Saturn or fly into the water in the Surf Slide. Campers go to the lake one afternoon a week with their unit where then can take part in all the lake has to offer. Camper's 3rd-8th can also choose select lake activities during their focus & choice periods.
High Sierra Adventure Center
Our total high and low ropes course pits you against yourself, challenging your body and your brain. Whether you're helping out a group challenge or creeping up our 45-foot high climbing wall, you'll come home with great stories, great memories- and real achievements. You'll get a chance to take one of our thrilling zip line rides and to overcome the challenging vertical playpen. Best of all it happens with the latest climbing and safety equipment, all under the watchful eyes of trained and certified facilitators.
Mountain Biking
Our fleet of bikes lets you roam not only the 180 acres that hug Wooster Lake. The distance biking hobby makes it possible to first learn the rules and safety procedure along local roads and then head out to area trails and venues. You'll have such a great time; you won't even realize the exercise you'll get.
Skate Park
No matter how much you skate, it's never enough. Complete with a 4-foot half-pipe, quarter pipe, flat wedge, fly wedge, bank ramp and grinding rail, this is where it's at. You'll be fully outfitted with helmet, knee, wrist and elbow pads. We supply skateboards, but feel free to bring your own blades or board.
Fine Arts
Our campers express their creativity, dreams and spirit- in the studios and on the stage.
Try your hand at making jewelry, creating a mezuzah, stained glass, fabric design or ceramics. Practice a dance routine, learn your lines or put together a monologue. Our dance program is housed in the new climate controlled dance studio, Arts and Crafts are created in our arts and crafts center and drama is performed in our new amphitheatre.
Sports and Games
Ever play Medic? Newcomb? Tennis-baseball? Over-the-fence? Gaga? Games like these - and the traditional ones you like so much - are played on two baseball diamonds, two soccer/football fields, three regulation basketball courts, five tennis courts, three sand volleyball courts, and an archery range. Beginning with youngest campers, everyone finds their favorite sport.
Indoor and Outdoor Cooking
Enjoy the culinary arts in both our fully equipped air-conditioned kitchen and over an open fire as campers create delights ranging from quesadillas to fudge and stir fry.
