Thank you for your interest in Camp STAR, Chicagoland's first and only evidence-based therapeutic summer day camp designed to help children manage their behavioral, emotional and social difficulties.

As soon as we receive your registration form, clinicians from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) will call you to schedule a screening appointment. Successful completion of the screening process is required. An Intake packet will be mailed to you prior to your screening appointment. Here are some details about the appointment:
- Approximately 1 hour long
- Interview will be held at either our Northbrook office or the UIC Medical Center (downtown Chicago).
- Parents/Guardians and the camper will meet with a UIC clinician for an interview, to determine if camp is a good "fit" for your child, and to discuss treatment goals.
- Parents/Guardians must complete and bring all paperwork in the Intake packet to their interview.
Please note: Submission of materials does not guarantee acceptance into our program. In order to determine if your child qualifies, you and your child must participate in a screening interview.
